Addison Groove Project
Formed in 1997, Addison Groove Project has spent the past five years building their fanbase through consistent touring. The group’s stature was confirmed with two nights at the Paradise Rock Club (October 2002) in Boston that did a combined 937 paid. In 2002, Addison Groove Project released two albums. "Allophone" was released in April of 2002 and "Wicked Live 2" was released in time for Christmas shopping. AGP will be touring in support of "Wicked Live 2" for much of 2003. AGP’s ‘02-‘03 New Year’s Eve show was at the prestigious Mercury Lounge in NYC and was SOLD OUT IN ADVANCE. The band played from 2:30 AM — 6:30 AM to a packed house.

On "Wicked Live 2," Addison Groove Project travels beyond the boundaries of traditional funk, jazz, and fusion. Drums, bass, keyboards, guitar, and horns layer subtle intricacies over expansive soundscapes on an album that is certainly AGP's best release to date. Along with the innovative tracks, "Wicked Live 2" features Brendan Mc Ginn's introspective vocals that stem equally from modern indie rock and 70's soul. With a captivating live show and consistent touring, Addison Groove Project has developed their fanbase up and down the East Coast and already has the West Coast hot in anticipation. AGP has waited to begin national touring so that all band members could complete their college education. 2003 will mark AGP's first year of all-out national touring, with a summer tour in the works that will bring the band across the country and back.
