Did you really think a little thing like a hand injury would keep Dave Mustaine away? His doctors would either be cringing or going “cha-ching” seeing him up on stage shredding as he has always done. It wouldn’t help the doctors to see the sold out crowd brutalize themselves non-stop for two hours either.
Mustaine didn’t’ have too much interaction with the audience. How could he when the audience was going in a million different directions? He simply came on stage and delivered a mix of hits and new material from his newest CD “The System Has Failed.” Thankfully, with the election now over, we don’t have to hear any political rhetoric during a show, just straight playing with a second or two break in between songs.
Despite the unfortunate demise of Paul Baloff and the firing of Steve Zousa, Exodus has Steev Esquivel of Skinlab handling the vocal duties. While some in the crowd may have never heard of Exodus, you can bet that they will be searching the bins for their 1985 album “Bonded by Blood.” They came back on stage to jam with Megadeth on "Back in the Day." I'm sure that back in the day, both bands didn't have the following they have now.

I personally don’t see this being Megadeth’s last tour. This is therapy for Mustaine, and this need for release will overcome any physical pain he has in his hand, and as long as the crowds keep coming and going home bloody and bruised, he can keep going
